We never dreamed that something like this would happen in our own community and there is no way to fully prepare for the impact this has and will continue to have on our daily lives.
Irish Hearts began as a response within our community to the crisis following Haiti’s 7.0 magnitude earthquake in 2010. We came together then to focus on the healing power of community and we hope you will join us again when that spirit of community is needed more than ever. In our 11th year, you have shown us time and again that when we come together we can have a tremendous impact in this world.
The mission of NPH is to help the most vulnerable of our brothers and sisters and that sense of community is at the heart of our organization. If we have learned anything over the past 11 years, it is the power of our community to make powerful and lasting change in the lives of others.
A little bit about the organization: NPH USA transforms the lives of abandoned and disadvantaged children in Latin America and the Caribbean by supporting the homes, healthcare and educational programs of Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos (NPH, Spanish for "Our Little Brothers and Sisters"). Together, we create families for life and teach children the values of unconditional love, shared responsibility and helping others. Our donors help children overcome poverty and become leaders in their own communities.
If you are able to give at this time, we thank you. If you are not, we ask for your love and prayers as we navigate what will surely be trying times ahead.
