Living Life Fully After Brain Injury is an introductory educational series. The classes will cover a wide wage of critical topics from clinical aspects, community re-integration to financial matters. Classes are designed for persons living with a brain injury, their families, and their nonprofessional caregivers.
November 14, 2017 – Managing Behavioral Changes and Managing Depression, Anxiety and emotional changes.
November 28th, 2017 – Medical Issues and the nature of recovery after brain injury and Financial and Healthcare concerns.
December 12, 2017 – Neuropsychological Assessment and Medications: Psychopharmacology after Brain Injury.
January 9, 2018 – Strategies and Accommodations to manage cognitive changes and fatigue and Re-connecting with relationships and community activities.
January 23, 2018 – Alcohol and other drug use after brain injury and Veterans and Brain Injury.
February 6, 2018 – Employment Strategies and resources and Returning to school after brain injury: transition to adult life.
