HIKE - SHORELINE CLEAN UP - TRAIL RUN
On Saturday, April 30 we're joining Trials of Miles and Kilgore Racing for a preview hike (or run) of the Hudson River 50 course -- a new trail ultramarathon that will take place on October 1.
The event takes place in 2 parts.
RUNNERS: We have a bus picking up those who want to run the course at 6:30 am.
HIKERS & SHORELINE CLEAN UP: Those who choose to hike & shoreline cleanup will be picked up at 8:30 am.
The Hike will be roughly 3-5 miles long and take place at 9:30 am. If you want to run the course you will see about 12 of the 25 miles in the loop (which the 50 milers will run twice). The run takes place first thing in the morning at 7:30 am.
All paces are welcome and we'll have donuts and coffee waiting for you when you're done. Then, immediately following the run, there will be a hike and trail cleanup event led by Riverkeeper and OUTSIDERS.
You are more than welcome to join us for any part of the day. It should be a really fun morning and it's also a great opportunity to give back to the park, river, and the trail, while also learning more about Riverkeeper and the Hudson River 50 race!

EVENT SCHEDULE:
- 6:30 AM Runners meet at Worthwild
- 6:45 AM Runners bus departs
- 7:30 - 9:00 AM Trail Run & Course Preview with Trials of Miles and David Kilgore (10-12 miles)
- 8:30 AM Hikers Meet at Worthwild
- 8:45 AM Hikers bus departs
- 9:00 - 9:15 AM Coffee & Donuts at Ross Dock Picnic Area
- 9:15 - 9:30 Chat with Riverkeeper Team
- 9:30 - 11:00 AM Hike & Shoreline Cleanup with Outsiders (3-5 miles)
- 1:00 PM Depart back to the NYC

No refunds or credits unless the event is canceled. If the event is rescheduled to due weather, ticket purchasers will be offered refunds if they notify us within 72hrs that they are unable to attend the rescheduled date.
