Earth Day Hike

Join us on Saturday, April 22 for our Earth Day Hiike hike! We'll be hiking Badger and Goldfinch Trail Loop at Chain O’Lakes Spring Groves IL. This is a 3.2-mile loop trail near Spring Grove, Illinois. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 1.5 hrs min to complete if you're a seasoned hiker. With is being Earth Day and all,  we'll take our time and soak in the natural surrounding together.

Bring your hiking shoes or sturdy sneakers (you’ll need them), dress warm, pack water and a sandwich, invite some friends and get ready to enjoy the outdoors. We’ll start the day at The Long Room. After the hike we'll make our way to a local eatery for food and drinks before heading back home.

EVENT DETAILS:

  • 10:00AM – Meet at The Long Room
  • 10:30AM – Depart
  • 12:30PM – Arrive at hike entrance
  • 2:00PM – Snack break on the trail
  • 3:00PM – Conclude hike head to a Local Eatery for food & drinks
  • 5:30 PM - Depart back to The Long Room
