KidLITapalooza 2025
2nd Annual KidLITapalooza: a mini book festival for kids in grades 1- 6 
and their grownups*!
Hurry - last year's event sold out quickly!

Calling all bookworms going in to grades 1 - 6!  KidLITapalooza was created just for you. Spend the morning hearing from dozens of children's authors, illustrators, and creators, getting to know their newest books, and participating in fun small group activities. How exciting it is to meet the authors and illustrators behind the books you love!

Tickets will be available at the door

*All attending kids must be accompanied by a supervising adult; purchase each kid's ticket and then also purchase a $5 adult ticket. Please also be sure to enter the child's grade when you check out.

Please note that this event is for children. No adult will be admitted without an attending child. Educators who love children's literature are invited to attend LITapalooza the day before.

Kids and authors will be divided into groups in different rooms.  The authors will introduce themselves to each group of kids, run a short small group activity designed to be active and fun, and then switch rooms.  Based on your feedback from last year, each group of kids will get to be in the room with every attending author!

Meanwhile, parents can attend an informative book talk from our booksellers. Hear all about some of our current favorite reads for grown-ups!  

The morning will end with a big book signing to meet all your favorite authors.
