Taste of River North, July 21-23

Taste of Lincoln Avenue, July 29-30
Visit Lincoln Avenue at the end of July to partake in a popular city summer festival, now in its 34th year. Fiesta del Sol, July 27th-July 30th

Chicago Hot Dog Fest, August 11th
Held at the Chicago History Museum in Lincoln Park, the Chicago Hot Dog Fest offers you three days of the city’s best local vendors creating one of Chicago’s most favorite foods. Sample various hot dogs and sausages while enjoying some live music.
Ginza Holiday Festival, August 11th-13th
You’ll find the 62nd annual Ginza Holiday Festival at the Midwest Buddhist Temple. Get a taste of Japanese culture, tasty Japanese food, including chicken teriyaki. A host of live entertainment from Japanese Folk dance to Taiko drumming will provide a bevy of cultural entertainment.
Festa Italiana, August 18th-August 20ths
Located on Taylor Street in Chicago’s Little Italy, this festival lets residents enjoy some of the best local Italian eats the city has to offer. Several local restaurants will offer be cheffing it up! Live bands will be performing and there will also be some fun contests to look forward to include a bocce-ball tournament and a meatball-eating contest.
Taste of Greektown, August 25th-27th
Halsted St. in Chicago will present the Taste of Greektown this summer. This is a cultural event filled with both old world Greek traditions and excellent food. You’ll get your fill of Greek food as you dance the calories away! This event also offers several family-friendly games to keep the kids entertained for hours.
Taste of Polonia, Sept 1st-4th
The Copernicus Center hosts this year’s Taste of Polonia, which lets you get a feel for all things Polish, and most of all, Polish cuisine! You’ll be presented with a variety of Polish foods, a large selection of beers, live bands, and cultural dancing and performances.
Sam Adams Lakeview Taco Fest, Sept. 16th-17th
One of the most popular festivals in Chicago during the summer is the fourth annual Sam Adams Lakeview Taco Fest. It will be held on Southport Avenue. The food festivities all focus on one of America’s favorite foods, the taco. You’ll be able to sample a whole host of different takes on the taco while enjoying a lively music festival.
