Bipasha Basu - She's Hot Hot Hot!
One of the many few new actresses who is actually making a lasting impression in Bollywood, Bipasha talks!

Bipasha Basu - She's Hot Hot Hot!

Bipasha Basu is the hottest thing to happen to Bollywood in recent years and after the success of Jism, Bipasha is definitely riding high. She has accomplished great things in her two years while doing unconventional films like Ajnabee, which dealt with wife swapping, Raaz, a supernatural thriller, Gunaah, a cop mouthing obscene language, and now in Jism by putting sex on the table. Her sheer resolve has proved that sex is no taboo. Sipping cold coffee in her van while waiting for her next shot, Bipasha portrays a picture of a happy-go-lucky, easy going person, rather than a star.

Rajesh Shah: Your next film is Vikram Bhatt's Aetbaar with Amitabh Bachchan and John Abraham. You seem to be permanently with the Bhatts?
Bipasha Basu: Laughing she reveals, "Yeah I am with them 8 months a year. But I get along with them so why not work with people I am comfortable with. They give me challenging roles and we share a lovely rapport. Vikram has become a real good friend. In fact, in his next film Aetbaar I play the role of a girl torn between her possessive father and her mysterious boyfriend."

RS: Were you nervous working with Amitabh Bachchan?
BB: Oh yeah. He is the superstar of the century. I grew up watching him even though I didn't see many Hindi films, Amitji's were the few that I saw. He is a thorough professional and makes people comfortable around him. I get to learn a lot by merely watching his scenes."

Bipasha is going places in the film world. Among her forthcoming films are Rudraksh, directed by Mani Shankar, Footpath, directed by Vikram Bhatt, Jaane Kya Hoga, directed by Glenn and Ankush, Padmalayas production Ishq Hai Tum Se with Dino Morea, Nehla Pe Delha with Sanjay Dutta and of course Vikram Bhatt's Aetbaar. It's no wonder she is being called the No.1 actress today but our sultry girl who has her head pinned on her shoulders doesn't believe in number tags. "They don't matter to me." She shrugs.

And lots has happened in her love life too. After a long relationship with Dino Morea she began dating Milind Soman but eventually on the sets of Jism her affair with John Abraham blossomed. But she is unwilling to talk about it. She maintains John is a good friend and through a telepathic connection, he calls. She answers and after a brief talk turns her attention to me. But anticipating the question she shakes her head, "A lot has been said in the past but I think I shouldn't talk about my personal life anymore. It leads to complications. I don't mind being written about in gossip columns but I won't give any details. I learned it the hard way and I want my love life to remain separate."
